Coco Happy Farm – Rustic Farmstay in Ben Tre, Mekong Delta | Free Bike Tour & Seasonal Fruits
Over the years, we’ve welcomed travelers from all over the world — and each of them leaves behind not just a memory, but a story.
Some came for the coconuts. Some for the fireflies. Some for the quiet. But most left with something deeper: a sense of connection — to the land, to our family, to something real.
Here are some of the moments we’ll never forget.
They arrived planning to stay for two nights. Quiet, reserved. They didn’t expect much.
But then something happened. They helped feed the goats. Joined our family lunch. Took a bike to the market. And on their second night, the husband said, “We thought we were just visiting, but we feel like we belong.”
They stayed for nine days.
He didn’t speak much English. Or Vietnamese. But every morning he walked around the garden with our dogs, always smiling.
On his last morning, he handed my father a folded note. It read:
“Your land reminds me of my grandfather’s village. Thank you for letting me remember.”
Then he hugged my father — and cried.
She didn’t want a room. Just a hammock under the trees and the sound of frogs at night.
She stayed up late journaling, then woke up early to help my mom cook. When she left, she wrote in our guestbook:
“I thought this was a farmstay. But it felt like staying with distant cousins I didn’t know I had.”
We’ve had many pets over the years. But our dogs — especially Mít and Bơ — are unofficial tour guides.
Guests have told us:
“Your dog walked me to the river and waited for me to come back.”
“I didn’t know I needed a dog in Vietnam until I met yours.”
“I came for coconuts, stayed for the dogs.”
Coco Happy Farm isn’t just a place to sleep. It’s a place to feel.
When guests come here, we share meals, chores, stories — and sometimes silence. We don’t offer performances. We offer presence.
If you visit us, maybe you’ll become part of this story too.
