Coco Happy Farm grew from our family’s own coconut garden. It is our home—not a resort created to look rural.
My father harvested coconuts with a long bamboo pole. My mother carried them in baskets on a shoulder yoke. As a child, I used a forked pole to retrieve coconuts that had fallen into the canals. Those were ordinary family jobs, not activities designed for visitors.
After working as a tour guide, I returned to Lương Hòa in 2017 and began welcoming overnight guests. We paused during the COVID years and started receiving travellers again in 2022.

The garden came
before the guest rooms.
In Ben Tre, coconut gardens are everywhere. They shape the paths, canals, food, work and memories of families like ours. We know our family has cared for this land across at least four generations; the story may go back further, but no one alive can now say exactly how far.
Today my parents still tend the trees and garden. My sister Thúy looks after food and joins my mother in the kitchen. My partner, Yếu, shares coconut-leaf handicrafts when available. I host guests and personally guide the village cycling experience.
Nothing needs to happen on cue. A harvest follows the trees, seasonal fruit follows the garden, and family life continues whether or not a visitor is watching.

Why “Coco Happy Farm”?
A name for coconut country—and for real happiness.
I chose the name myself. “Coco” belongs naturally here because in Ben Tre, coconut gardens are everywhere. “Happy” is the reason for opening our home: I wanted the farm to bring genuine joy to guests, to my family and to local people who share their knowledge and time.
